MAXWELL WINES case study
Maxwell called for an elevation in their digital marketing. We helped them with this by building brand, traffic and sales for their wine, mead, and experiences with consistent results through a difficult time for tourism businesses…covid!
Maxwell Wines is based in the heart of McLaren Vale and etched into its history is the five-star winery, meadery and restaurant built with seductive locations for spectacular occasions: a tribute to one man’s vision and tenacity. Drop by when you next visit the Vale….we can’t stress enough how worthwhile it will be!
From Mushroom picking to helicopter tours, to Mead and Wine tastings and 5-star degustations…Maxwell Wines really is the epitome of “Well Made”.
With such a large array of things to do, wines to try, and meads to explore, the marketing team at Maxwell Wines were interested in exploring how they could harness digital marketing to grow their presence in market, and sales online.
With relatively early-stage digital presence, we were starting with tracking conflicts, and multiple competing messages to manage. However, in working closely with the internal marketing team the message to the market became crystal clear, and through our efforts to map and track the full user journey from socials to experience and product sales on the sight, we were able to provide a more 360 view of how the marketing efforts were truly impacting the bottom line.
In fact, we were able to expose the opportunities behind the data once everything was connected (between the custom backend, wine direct system, Rezdy booking system and social media and search engine platforms), and actually grow their revenue through the site by more than 5x!
Given we started in the midst of covid-19, we also helped Maxwell Wines secure the most bookings from the Great State Voucher offering from the SA Government…a great result from a very small ad spend!
It’s important to note that this is an example of a client that receives plenty of phone calls and walk-ins, not solely online bookings and purchases. So, it was important to us that we continue to support the offline interactions that their audience has with the business as well as encouraging online growth.
Thanks to the success of the initial campaign back in 2020, a partnership was formed with Neon Treehouse, which is still going strong!
